Delete your Linguamigo account
How to delete your account
- Open the Linguamigo app.
- Sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm your identity (password, Google, or Apple, depending on how you signed in) and confirm deletion.
If you cannot use the app, email support@linguamigo.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. Include “Linguamigo account deletion” in the subject.
What is deleted
When deletion completes, we remove:
- Your Firebase Authentication user (email and sign-in identity)
- Firestore data for that account, including learning progress, reviews, streaks, settings, and the premium flag we stored
What is kept
- Google Play or App Store purchases. Premium is owned by your store account. Deleting Linguamigo does not cancel or refund that purchase. You can restore Premium later on a new Linguamigo account that uses the same Play or Apple ID.
- Ads and crash processors. Google AdMob and Crashlytics may keep technical logs for a limited time under their own policies.
- Backups. Firebase backups and security logs may persist for a short period after deletion, then expire.
If you installed the app but never created an account, uninstalling Linguamigo removes local preferences on that device. There is no server account to delete.
Partial deletion
Linguamigo does not offer deleting only some data while keeping the account. Deletion removes the whole account.
